Once your membership has been approved, log on to the password protected area for investors and browse through various private company listings. Company listings include a brief executive summary
Step 4
If you are interested in a particular company, send them your profile and request further information.
Step 5
Begin the Negotiations process with the company.
Step 6
If you are finally interested in investing in the company transmit funds to the company. ideamint.com also provides investors with an entire array of services to help them make a more sound investment decision. For example, at the investors request, ideamint.com can conduct a due diligence or provide an escrow service that will not release investor funds to the entrepreneur until we have received the proper documentation.

How does the investment process work for NRIs and international investors?

The Indian government has taken an active initiative to encourage Foreign Direct Investment into the technology sector. The norms and procedures have been especially relaxed for venture capital investments, including complete repatriability. The investment process for NRIs and international investor is identical to that for domestic Indian investors except that the former types of investors need to obtain a clearance from the Government of India before transmitting funds. How does the investment process work for entrepreneurs?

Step 1
Read ideamint.com�s Terms & Conditions and Non-Disclosure Policy
Step 2
Obtain a password to the ideamint.com entrepreneur section (it takes a minute) and submit a summary of your business online (a simple form has been provided to collect all information).
Step 3
The ideamint.com Analyst Team will review your business summary and contact you with further instructions.
Step 4
If your business concept meets our requirements, we will conduct a thorough due diligence.
Step 5
After all the formalities are complete, we will post a brief description of your business in the password protected investor area of the ideamint.com site. The business description will not contain any sensitive information. Only screened investors will be able to view this information. None of your fellow entrepreneurs or any unauthorized individuals will be able to view your business summary.
Step 6
If an investor is interested in your company, the investor will initiate contact by sending you his/her/firm profile.
Step 7
If you are interested in pursuing a transaction with the investor, you can begin negotiations.
Step 8
Once you have completed negotiation and all legal formalities are complete your firm can receive the funding.

How does the incubation process work?

Step 1
The ideamint.com incubator, idea factory, consists of ideamint.companies specializing in eBusiness development. The aforementioned companies that service the idea factory form the ideamint.com Keiretsu.
Step 2
Any company can apply for membership to the idea factory.
Step 3
Once your membership has been approved, an idea factory team known as the interim development TEAM (idTEAM) will attach itself to your company. The idTEAM will supervise the entire development process of your company.
Step 4
After analyzing your business requirements, the idTEAM will outsource the work needed to the appropriate idea factory companies.
Step 5
Once your company has been set-up, the idTEAM will detach itself from your organization.

Your firm can continue to outsource certain business aspects to the ideamint.com Keiretsu companies.
